Swimming Instruction

Early Bird Lap Swimming

June 28 - Sept. 1

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 am

A peaceful environment for adult lap swimming before the work day that avoids the evening chaos in the lap lanes

Fee: Free; no registration required

Private Swimming Lessons

Schedules to be made with individual instructors

Intensive individual swimming instruction on all levels from learn-to-swim through stroke perfection

Instructors: Lifeguard Staff

Fee: $30 per half hour session.

Group Swimming Lessons

Sundays, June 26 – July 31 9:30 – 10 a.m. and 10-10:30 a.m.

Wednesdays, June 29 – August 3, 3:30 – 4:00 p.m.

Children are placed in groups of 4-5 swimmers based on ability level. All levels of swimming instruction are provided in a fun, safe, and educational environment without the intensity of private lessons

Fee: $75 for package of 6; no discounts for missed classes; no make-ups.

Mommy and Me Group Swimming Lessons

Sundays, June 26 – July 31, 11:45am - 12:15am **NEW DAY & TIME**

Wednesdays, June 29 – August 3, 4:15pm - 4:45pm 

Group swim instruction for toddlers age 6-24 months (divided by age and ability). The class focuses on adaptation to the water and basic skills for water safety. This class is a great primer for children who will take group or private swimming lessons next summer!

Fee: $75 for package of 6 sessions; no discount for missed classes; no make-ups.

Tennis Instruction

Adult Summer Clinics

The Workout Clinic:

10-11am  Wednesdays beginning June 30

Come out for an hour and hit more balls in that hour than you would in a 3 hour doubles match.  We will keep you moving for the whole hour, and you will get a GREAT workout.  All levels Welcome.

Saturday Morning Clinic:

9:30-11am Saturdays beginning June 19

This will run all summer. We will be doing a wide variety of drills, covering all the shots, and then putting those shots to work in some match play. All Levels Welcome

Kids Clinics, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 28

Pee Wee Clinic: 3:30-4:00pm Ages 4-6

We will start the kids off with the basics, teaching them hand eye coordination, learning to throw and catch, and the basic technique of tennis.  And of course they will have a BLAST!!!

Junior Clinic: 4-5pm ages: 7-12

This Clinic will be for beginners and some players with a little tennis experience.  We will be teaching them all the strokes, techniques, sportsmanship, and the rules of the game.

Make your Own Clinic and Time:

Perhaps you have a group of 2-6 kids (depending on age and ability), and you want to set up your own clinic.  This way, you can get the time you want, and your child can play with his/her friends, where he/she would feel most comfortable.  This is often the most popular way to go with many families and one we always try to encourage.  We can of course do private Adult Clinics too!  Just email us some options for times and availability.  See chart below for pricing.

Daily Intramural Sports

Activities will be announced each afternoon as enough kids are present to play.  Activities include soccer, kickball, box ball, and a variety of water games.
