POOL DIRECTOR KRISTIN MULLER OF ARMONK
Kristin grew up loving sports and is now proud to be running the Anita Louise Ehrman Recreation Center that, for most of her life, has been her second home.
Kristin is a lifelong resident of Armonk, where she was born & educated, and now resides. She attended and graduated from Byram Hills H.S. in 1994; she earned her B.A. from Georgetown University in 1998, and her M.A. from St. John's University in 2003.
She started working at ALE at age 13 in the snack bar. When she turned 15, she became a lifeguard and worked at ALE for five more years. She learned how to swim at ALE from a teacher there, Steve Wright, when she was three years old. Soon afterward, she joined the swim team (age 5) and swam until she aged out at age 18. She also began diving at age 12, and continued until she was 18. After that, she coached (or assisted) the swim team and the diving team for nearly four years during and after high school. She also began giving private swimming lessons at age 15, which she continues to do today, over 15 years later.
Kristin was the Assistant Pool Director at Lewisboro Town Pool in 2001, and the Director of the pool at Tamarack Country Club in nearby Greenwich, CT, in '02 and '03, before returning to ALE in 2005.
During the school year, Kristin teaches English at Preston High School, an all-girls Catholic school in the Bronx.
